Data Center New Product Introduction Supervisor | Sparks, NV

The New Products Introduction (NPI) Supervisor is responsible for the strategic oversight and daily management of infrastructure deployment workstreams. This role ensures that all physical server builds from rack population to final cabling are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to global quality standards. Responsibilities
• Oversee daily build operations to ensure deployments meet production, quality, and schedule targets
• Lead and prioritize workflows to meet strict Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
• Allocate personnel, tools, and equipment based on project scope and urgency
• Supervise rack population, hardware installation, and structured cabling per SOPs
• Support testing and integration of new equipment and processes in an active construction environment
• Serve as the final escalation point for quality assurance and deployment verification
• Conduct inspections for inbound and outbound equipment and materials
• Ensure proper tracking of inventory, materials movement, cycle counts, and returns
• Assign tasks, monitor technician performance, and provide hands on leadership on the floor
• Train, mentor, and coach team members on build standards and documentation
• Optimize workflow by identifying bottlenecks and applying lean methodologies to improve throughput
• Enforce safety standards, PPE compliance, and promote a strong safety culture
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and customer teams in a highly customer-facing role
• Prepare production reports and documentation using Excel, Word, and Slides
• Troubleshoot technical, operational, or personnel challenges to minimize downtime
• Operate pallet jacks and material handling equipment when moving palletized parts
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all SOPs and safety procedures
• Perform other data center–related physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
Qualifications
• OSHA 10 required within first two weeks (training cost covered if not certified)
• 2 years of leadership experience in data center builds, production, construction, or related fields
• Experience supporting new product implementation and process integration
• Proficiency with power tools, structured cabling, and rack build tasks
• Ability to read and follow schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
• Familiarity with inventory systems, SOPs, and quality assurance processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer facing skills
• High attention to detail with excellent multitasking ability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and presentation tools
• Experience promoting and enforcing strong safety culture preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation to the worksite on USA Pkwy
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must pass a national background check (no felonies ever; no misdemeanors in the last 7 years)
Pay
$35.00 per hour
Schedule
Full-Time | Day Shift
Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Must be willing and available to work overtime as needed.
