Data Center Material Handler | West Jordan, UT

Nexeo Staffing is hiring Material Handlers for a leading global logistics and technology operation in West Jordan, UT. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, data management, computer hardware, or electronics assembly. In this role, you'll support critical data center operations by managing inventory, installing server components, processing electronic equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring quality standards are met. We're looking for detail-oriented, dependable professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments, have strong computer skills, and take pride in safety, accuracy, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming materials and inventory.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Move inventory throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Utilize RF scanners, computers, and warehouse software to track inventory and process transactions.
• Assemble and install server components and electronic equipment by following work instructions and diagrams.
• Create and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other shipping documentation.
• Perform quality inspections to verify product accuracy and condition.
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Cross-train in multiple departments and assist with warehouse and logistics operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse, material handling, shipping & receiving, inventory control, or distribution.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use RF scanners or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.

Preferred

• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), SAP, Red Prairie, or similar inventory software.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or quality inspections.
• Experience assembling computer hardware, electronics, or server components.
• Experience creating Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or logistics environment.

Pay

$20.50 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
