Data Center Material Handler | Vernon, TX

Nexeo Staffing is hiring full-time Material Handlers to support a high-tech data center and warehouse operations in Vernon, Texas opening January 5th, 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory, manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.

No previous data center experience required! You’ll receive training to help move, track, inspect, and install materials and equipment in a clean, fast-paced facility. If you’re dependable, comfortable performing hands-on work, and take pride in accuracy and teamwork, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers
• Verify part numbers, quantities, shipping documents, and product condition
• Stage, move, stock, and organize materials throughout the facility
• Complete inventory counts and replenish parts and supplies
• Process returned materials and update inventory records
• Use warehouse management systems, RF scanners, or other inventory tools
• Assist with basic equipment assembly and hardware installation
• Use basic hand tools and follow written instructions or diagrams
• Operate pallet jacks, straddle stackers, rack movers, and similar equipment after training
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Lift up to 50 pounds and regularly stand, walk, bend, push, and pull

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, inventory, manufacturing, assembly, production, or similar environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory systems
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift
• Commitment to following all SOPs, safety protocols, confidentiality rules, and data center security requirements
• Reliable transportation to the worksite
• Must pass a national background check (no felonies ever; no misdemeanors in the last 7 years)
• Must pass a federal compliant drug screening
• High school diploma or GED

Helpful, but Not Required

• Shipping and receiving, stocking, picking, packing, or inventory-control experience
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
• Experience using basic hand tools or assembling equipment

Pay

Day Shift: $21.00 Per Hour

Swing Shift:$22.00 Per Hour

*Employees who are offered and accept permanent employment may receive a $1.00/hr increase after temp-to-hire period.

Schedule

Day and Night shift schedules available!

Day Shift | Full-Time | Monday – Friday, Every other Saturday | 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Swing Shift | Full-Time | Monday – Friday, Every other Saturday | 5:30 PM – 6:00 AM

*Must be willing & available to work overtime as needed.
