Assembly Laborer | North Logan, UT
Nexeo Staffing is seeking motivated and dependable Assembly Laborers to join a growing manufacturing team specializing in amusement ride vehicles and components. This hands-on role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with tools, reading blueprints, and building high-quality products. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of ride vehicles and components using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and job specifications.
- Ensure assemblies are completed accurately and meet quality and ASTM standards.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed.
- Inspect finished work to verify compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Regularly lift and move materials weighing 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
- Work in various positions, including standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
- Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Basic math, measuring, reading, and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
- Vocational training in electronics assembly or a related field is a plus.
Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Day Shift | Monday - Friday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Every Other Friday Off
