It’s a leading institution, with a heart for the community.Certified Central Processing Technician - Central Sterile Supply -NightsIn this role, you will be responsible for manually cleaning and reprocessing scopes in a safe and cost-effective manner using established policies and procedures under the direction of the department supervisor. Executes the cleaning, sterilization and assembly of equipment, supplies and instruments following prescribed procedures and techniques. Utilize your strong work ethic in this high volume department, that is crucial to patient safety.This is a full time position working 11:00pm-7:00am, including rotating weekends and alternating holidays, at NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center.Preferred CriteriaPrior CSPD experienceExperience with scopesCER certificationRequired CriteriaHigh School Diploma or GEDCertified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management or certified by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
