Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.
This is a Part Time Evening (21.75 hrs/wk; 3PM - 11PM) shift position at NYP/Queens Hospital. Every Weekend is required for the first 2 years of employment.
Required Criteria
Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Required Criteria
- 2 years of Nurse Attendant experience, Completion of a certified Nursing Attendant training program or presently enrolled in a Nursing School program.
- BLS from AHA
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must be able to complete mandatory 2 week orientation Monday - Friday from 8AM - 4PM upon hire.
