What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wildlife Exclusion Specialist ( Exclusion experience required) position at Newtown Termite & Pest Control, Inc.?
We’re looking for a Wildlife & Rodent Exclusion Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on inspecting homes, identifying entry points, performing exclusion work, and preventing wildlife and rodent infestations.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform wildlife and rodent inspections (rats, mice, squirrels, raccoons, etc.)
- Identify and seal structural entry points (rooflines, soffits, vents, fascia, crawlspaces, attics)
- Install exclusion materials such as:
- Hardware cloth
- Steel mesh
- Vent covers
- Chimney caps
- Door sweeps and flashing
- Perform light carpentry and repair work as needed
- Take before/after photos and document work
- Communicate findings and solutions clearly to homeowners
- Work independently and as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in exclusion, wildlife control, pest control, construction, roofing, or handyman work preferred
- Comfortable working:
- On ladders and roofs
- In attics and crawlspaces
- Outdoors year-round
- Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and professionally without constant supervision
