POSITION: World Language Teacher (Spanish & French)

• Our ideal candidate is a versatile educator certified to teach both Spanish and French.

SCHOOL: Newtown High School, Sandy Hook, CT 06482

STARTING DATE: August 24, 2026

REMUNERATION: as per Teachers’ Contract

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must hold Connecticut Teaching Certificate in Spanish (023)
• Additional Connecticut Teaching Certification in French (018) is highly preferred
  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging language instruction
• (For dual-certified candidates) Manage a split schedule teaching introductory to

across various proficiency levels.
