What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Laborer position at Newton Construction LLC?
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Concrete Laborer and/or Finisher to join our team. Experience in concrete is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with concrete pours, prep work, and cleanup
- Set and strip forms
- Use hand and power tools
- Perform site prep including digging and grading
- Load/unload materials and maintain a clean job site
- Support finishers and foreman as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (Required)
- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Schedule:
- Full-time
- 8-hour shifts
Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
