We are seeking an Environmental Scientist or Geologist who is a self starter and has experience with overseeing Phase 1 projects from site visit to final report preparation. This individual should also have familiarity with project management in other areas such as Phase II subsurface work with soil and groundwater sampling along with other Environmental duties. This position is a full-time salary position and salary is determined on experience. It also requires a high degree of autonomy; commitment to client needs and flexible work hours.
The below experience is preferable but not required:
- ASTM E 1903-11 Phase II ESA Report Writing and oversite
- Environmental Regulatory Compliance
- BUSTR and PUSTR processes
- SWPPP
- SPCC
- NPDES
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental studies, Geology, or related science degree
- A minimum of 2 years experience in an environmental project management position
- A valid Driver's License with the ability to travel up to 25%
- Detail oriented with strong decision making skills
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
