Cleaning Technician - Part-time

Job Description

March 2026 - A local window cleaning and pressure washing company is looking to add a reliable team member. Hours may fluctuate seasonally depending on weather and workload, but this is a part-time position with seasonally full-time work. Ideal for those with close to full-time availability during our busiest season of May-July and part-time throughout the year. College students are welcome to apply; must be at least 18 years old. This position involves physically-demanding outdoor work, including possible ladder use, detailed cleaning tasks, and working at customers' homes and businesses. Some inside work as well. The people who succeed in this role are dependable, hard working, and take pride in doing quality work. Reliability and punctuality are essential for this position.

This is considered a part-time position but will likely have full-time hours during our busiest season of May-July. Ideal candidates will be available for 3 to 5 full days a week. Actual hours may fluctuate with the seasonality of our business. This is a weekday position mostly with possibly some weekend work. Must be able to work quickly, without constant supervision, and with great attention to detail. Pay will be based on performance after training period. Due to the volume of candidates, not all candidates will be contacted.

Responsibilities and Duties

The duties assigned may include window track cleaning, screen cleaning, job setup, commercial window cleaning, home window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, etc.. For someone with no or limited experience, this position will start as a Trainee position with general labor and cleaning duties and progress from there. Other cleaning or duties may be included.

Qualifications and Skills

A professional, hardworking, and friendly attitude. Skilled at hands-on work. No experience is necessarily required, though experience and skill will affect pay range. Ability to provide excellent service with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Minimum requirements:

• Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Must be able to pass a background check. Violent or theft-related convictions may exclude candidates (other requirements exist).
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with our drug-free workplace policy.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license, your own reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance.
• Clean driving record needed.
• Full-day availability preferred for 3 to 5 weekdays per week. Typical start time is 7 AM to 8 AM (can vary).
• Be physically able to lift up to 70 lbs, work on ladders/lifts at height, and perform physically-demanding tasks for extended periods of time, and deliver quality results.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Comfortable working outside in heat, cold, humidity, and rain, etc.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
