The Accounting Assistant will be a vital member of the ever-growing Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this position is responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly accounting functions described below. This position will also work on special projects and ad hoc duties as needed, with a full-time M-F schedule in Nashua. As the Accounting Assistant, you'll be responsible for various tasks such as data entry, payment processing, ACH and wire transfers, researching payment errors, accounts payable, invoicing, clerical, and other general administrative tasks.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Requirements:
· Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
· Proficient MS Office and Computer Skills, ability to work on multiple systems and screens to compare data
· Experience in a similar position is preferred
· Must be able to pass a criminal background check
· Experience with QuickBooks
