We are seeking full-time experienced Carpenters (5 years of experience) to join our team building high-performance zero energy homes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated, with strong craftsmanship and a commitment to quality. This role requires hands-on carpentry experience and the ability to work effectively on a variety of projects, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards. Hourly rate will be determined by experience and leadership ability.
Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks with precision.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret plan sets and construction drawings accurately.
- Assist in framing, trim, and other detailed carpentry tasks.
- Safely lift and handle materials up to 100 pounds.
- Maintain punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude on all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Contribute to a safe and organized jobsite environment.
Qualifications
- 5 years of carpentry experience.
- Strong rough and finish carpentry skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/plan sets.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Punctual, detail-oriented, and dependable.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
- Leadership experience a plus
- Equipment licensure a plus.
Schedule
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
