Newport Optical is seeking an outgoing, organized, and motivated individual with exceptional customer service skills and positive attitude to work in our well-established Optometry practice. Responsibilities would include greeting patients, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, gathering medical history and reason for appointment, verifying insurance information and coverage, assisting in order entry for contact lenses, coordinating referrals, and other administrative office duties.

Qualifications:
- General knowledge of front desk receptionist procedures.
- Efficient, organized, and resourceful with a strong attention to detail.
- Friendly and outgoing with the ability to connect with a diverse group of people.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality .
- Proficient in basic word processing, data entry and automated records.
- Experience in the Optometry field is preferred but not required.
