SUMMARY:
The Director Organizational Effectiveness plays a pivotal role in advancing hospital performance and aligning initiatives with system wide-goals. This leader drives consistency across departments, enhances operational workflows, and ensures that key initiatives are executed effectively. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Alignment and Initiative Execution
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement initiatives that support hospital and system-wide priorities
- Lead cross-functional efforts that promote consistency, scalability, and measurable outcomes
- Facilitate planning processes including forecasting, resource allocation, and performance reviews in partnership with finance and service line leaders
Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency
- Identify and implement improvements that streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance patient care delivery
- Oversee execution of key projects, ensuring alignment with operational goals and timely completion
- Monitor performance metrics and lead corrective actions to address gaps and optimize results
Collaboration and Communication
- Act as a connector between hospital departments and system level leadership to ensure seamless coordination
- Support internal communications and change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes and technologies
- Partner with marketing, philanthropy and community relations to support outreach and engagement efforts
- Prepare executive level presentations, reports, and materials that communicate progress, challenges and outcomes

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field required.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5-7 years project management, process improvement experience in health care, or experience working as a consultant for process improvement projects.
Record of accomplishment in team coordination with cross-functional business units and/or multidisciplinary project teams.
Extensive healthcare experience and working in an integrated healthcare system. Should have previous experience leading multidisciplinary teams in process improvement and strategy.
Experience in developing and implementing a strategic planning process and collaboration across a highly complex (health care provider) organization.
