WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) …
We are currently seeking a reliable, responsible Janitor to help maintain and care for our facilities. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, needs minimal supervision, remains flexible, focused, and is committed to maintaining a clean, safe environment for our staff and patients.
The start time for this position is 6am, Monday-Friday.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Painting.
- Respond to basic Facility work requests submitted via the ticketing system.
- The use of cleaning supplies and equipment to keep the interior of the office looking clean and professional.
- Restock items and assist with supplies management at all sites.
- Perform basic maintenance work and minor repairs.
- Confirm grounds are clear and safe for staff and patients.
- Undertake occasional seasonal tasks (e.g., shoveling snow from the walkways).
- Adhere to the company’s safety policies.
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU…
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- High degree of professionalism.
- 1 year or more experience in maintenance or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components.
- Detail oriented and conscientious.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- A valid Rhode Island Driver’s License is required.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
