We are looking for someone who loves talking to people and proactively solving issues. You will be responsible Customer Service Representative, Personal Lines Underwriting.
We are working with an organization in Plantation, Florida who is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its Underwriting team. They distribute exclusively through independent agencies and is known for a strong service and underwriting experience. The company is looking for a bilingual professional (Spanish and English required) who is comfortable managing policy updates, payments, and customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for policyholders, handling inquiries with professionalism and urgency
- Guide customers through policy changes, payments, and underwriting-related tasks
- Process policy transactions accurately and identify next steps for follow-up
- Document actions and decisions for each customer interaction
- Collaborate with team members to share insights and improve efficiency
The strongest candidates will bring a Florida 4-40 or 2-20 Resident General Lines License (or the ability to obtain within 90 days), along with demonstrated customer service experience in an insurance or financial services setting. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required. The right person is organized, analytical, and conflict-resolution oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office, and genuinely team-oriented.
