Duties
- Lead and motivate team members during your shift to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure operational excellence
- Take part in food preparation, cooking, and food handling to meet safety standards and quality expectations
- Manage POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Control inventory levels through effective stock management and waste reduction strategies
- Execute training and development initiatives to enhance team skills in food service management, safety protocols, and customer engagement
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and company policies across all areas of operation
- Assist with shift management tasks including resolving customer concerns, and maintaining a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and team building within a quick service or casual dining setting
- Strong background with previous experience in staff training, interviewing, or team management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Knowledge of inventory control, food safety practices, and food industry regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively
- Background in fast casual or restaurant management preferred
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of service
- Prior experience in catering, bar operations, hotel hospitality, or coffee/barista roles is advantageous
