What You’ll Do

As a Kitchen Team Member, you’ll play a critical role in delivering the quality that Newk’s guests expect every day.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare sandwiches, salads, pizzas, soups, and other menu items according to Newk’s recipes and specifications
• Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
• Properly prep ingredients and stock stations for each shift
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for peak business periods
• Work with urgency during lunch and dinner rushes
• Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Assist with receiving deliveries, rotating inventory, and minimizing food waste
• Support other stations whenever needed to keep the kitchen running efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
