What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant position at Newhaven Court at Clearview?
Activities Assistant – Community Outings & Daily Fun!
Do you love being on the move? Are you a social butterfly who enjoys planning events and exploring the local community? Newhaven Court at Clearview is looking for a high-energy Activities Assistant to lead our resident engagement programs and drive our community "fun bus" for local outings!
If you’re looking for a role that combines creative planning with meaningful local travel—all while maintaining a parent-friendly schedule—we want to hear from you.
The Perks of the Position
-

-
True Flexibility: Full-time or Part-time options with a schedule that respects your life.
-
Balanced Calendar: Rotating weekends (only 1x per month) and rotating holidays (approx. 1x per year).
-
Adventure Included: Spend your shifts taking residents to local parks, shops, and events.
What You’ll Be Doing
-

-
Lead the Energy: Facilitate daily on-site activities including games, trivia, crafts, and fitness.
-
Community Connection: Help residents stay connected to the Butler area through planned trips and social events.

Create Magic: Assist in planning monthly calendars that keep our community vibrant and exciting.
Requirements
-
The "Must-Have": A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. You must be comfortable and confident operating our small community bus (it handles similarly to a large van or small school bus).
-
People Skills: A patient, compassionate, and upbeat personality.
-
Reliability: Our residents count on you to get the party (and the bus) started!
-
Senior Living Passion: Experience in activities or working with seniors is a plus, but a great attitude is our #1 priority.
