What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Modeling Simulation Engineer position at NewGen Technologies?
Designs and implements simulation solutions for company modeling applications. Analyzes test results to configure model parameters and materials. Identifies development problems and provides technical solutions backed by analysis. Develops product documentation for designs and test procedures. Assists in developing platforms for simulation models.
Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain diagrams for simulation hardware
- Develop engineering calculation programs to support simulations
- Find solutions in device literature if it is not already in company documentation
- Provide and support analysis of early digital product prototypes, working with analysis tool developers, integrators, test team members, and other analysts
- Analyze the functional area and advise as to the best method of implementing a course of action based on the simulation strengths and weaknesses
- Participate in structured simulation training events and exercises and simulated rehearsals of operational plans and orders
- Develop analytical methods and simulations to facilitate analyses; execute trade studies; perform data analytics and statistical analysis; provide input and recommendations on analysis performed; and develop effective presentations that communicate results and findings
- Support architecture development and integration activities for weapon systems which may include items such as requirement creation and breakdown, analysis and traceability of requirements to key performance parameters, and support for requirement analysis
- Establish requirements for evaluation tools and processes, provide analytical support to the test planning process, and coordinate analytical results
- Generate and present test analysis planning documentation, test readiness briefs, quick-look reports and briefs, and detailed analysis reports and briefs
Requirements
- FAA Clearance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree; Experience: 16 Years, PhD 11 , MS 14 , HS 20
- Understand the system-level verification processes and have the ability to develop a system-level test and verification plan
- Ability to identify and develop integration objectives
