Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support cloud-based infrastructure and application environments
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, security, and deployment processes
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code to ensure reliable and consistent deployments
- Enhance platform observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting
- Support container orchestration platforms, Kubernetes clusters, and associated tooling
- Collaborate across development, security, and operations teams to improve platform resilience and performance
- Maintain strong version control discipline across all code repositories
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI FSP Clearance
- Technical bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field)
- 5 years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems engineering
- AWS Cloud Platform
- Foundational-to-intermediate experience using AWS Console and CLI, with working knowledge of: SNS, SQS, API Gateway, CloudWatch Logs, CloudTrail, CloudFormation (CFN), Step Functions, Route 53, DynamoDB,
- EBS, EFS, S3, EC2, Lambda, ECR, ECS, EKS, KMS, IAM, Secrets Manager
- CI/CD & Automation
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
- Familiarity with tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo Workflows, or similar
- Ability to integrate automated testing, scanning, and deployment orchestration
- Containerization & Orchestration
- Strong experience with Docker/Podman
- Expert understanding of Kubernetes (EKS or on-prem)
- Familiarity with:
- Argo CD (GitOps deployment)
- Helm
- Istio service mesh
- Keycloak for identity and access management
- Version Control & DevOps Practices
- Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review best practices
- Experience working within automation-driven DevOps environments
- Ability to document architectures, processes, and operational runbooks
