Salary Range: $90k-110k
NewGen Administrative Services, LLC is a leading provider of long-term care services in California, Washington, and Nevada, committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Risk Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive safety programs, conducting training, managing incidents, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safety Program Development & Implementation
– Develop, execute, and monitor safety policies, risk assessments, procedures, and programs to prevent accidents and injuries across all facilities.
– Ensure that safety measures are effectively communicated and adhered to by all staff members.
2. Safety Training & Emergency Preparedness
– Conduct regular safety training sessions for employees, ensuring they are well-versed in safety measures and protocols.
– Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans to ensure readiness for any potential incidents.
3. Incident Management & Investigation
– Investigate workplace incidents to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
– Ensure that all accidents are processed, documented, and reported in compliance with legal requirements.
4. Safety Inspections & Audits
– Perform regular safety inspections of facilities to identify and mitigate risks.
– Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory audits and inspections by OSHA and other relevant bodies.
5. Critical Incident Management
– Lead critical incident management efforts, ensuring proper actions are taken in compliance with legal and safety standards.
– Act as the primary point of contact for managing incidents and responding to regulatory inquiries.
6. Workers Compensation & Loss Control
– Assist in the preparation of OSHA logs and manage loss control reviews.
– Oversee workers’ compensation claims, ensuring timely reporting and documentation of safety-related incidents.
7. Safety Integration Across Facilities
– Collaborate with all facilities to ensure that safety policies are fully integrated into daily operations and business processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across multiple facilities.
