What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Social Services Consultant position at NewGen Administrative Services?
We are looking for a hands-on Regional Social Services Consultant to partner with a portfolio of healthcare facilities (SNFs, Rehab, and Long-Term Care). This isn't a desk job. You will be the boots-on-the-ground expert, the trouble-shooter, and the compliance anchor for sites that need immediate, high-level intervention.
Salary: $120k-$200k
You will not be managing one building’s daily paperwork. You will be saving the licensure, reputation, and patient outcomes of many.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
-
Crisis & Coverage: Step into interim leadership roles during vacancies or leaves. Stabilize the department from Day 1.
-
Survey Survival: Lead high-risk facilities through state and federal surveys. Write plans of correction that actually stick.
-
Complex Cases: Mentor on-site staff regarding high-acuity psychosocial needs, traumatic brain injury placements, and family mediation.
-
Compliance Audits: Review MDS 3.0 Section Q, PASRR screenings, and care plans to ensure zero revenue loss due to clinical errors.
-
Staff Training: Turn novice social service designees into confident professionals via in-person workshops and shadowing.
WHO YOU ARE:
-
You have 3 years of Social Services leadership in Skilled Nursing or Acute care.
-
You know the RAI process backward and forward.
-
You can walk into a facility, find the broken workflow, and fix it before lunch.
-
You hold a CSW, LCSW, or ACSW (or state equivalent).
-
You are willing to travel regionally (50-75%) and don’t mind a messy office if it means saving a facility’s star rating.
Salary : $120 - $200
