What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expo/Food Runner position at Newfound Lake Inn?
Newfound Lake Inn is looking for an energetic, dependable Expo Food Runner to join our team! In this role, you’ll help ensure our guests receive their meals quickly, accurately, and with exceptional service. You’ll work closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house staff in a fast-paced environment to keep service running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to guests.
- Verify orders are complete, accurate, and presented correctly before leaving the expo station.
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff regarding order status and special requests.
- Assist the expeditor (Expo) during busy service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the expo station and dining areas.
- Support servers by clearing tables and assisting with guest needs as needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
