What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Producer position at NewForm?
About
NewForm is the creative intelligence company. We help category disruptors like Kalshi, ElevenLabs, Babbel, and others scale paid ads by turning creative into a measurable, repeatable growth system.
We oversee $100M per year in paid media spend and create thousands of human ads each month, with each ad making our system smarter.
THE ROLE
As an Associate Producer at NewForm, you will own small productions from day one. You lead shoots, run sets, and get real content out the door — phone-first, UGC, lo-fi setups that are core to how we produce at volume. You'll work alongside our Content Producers and Creative Producer, sharpening the technical, directing, and social instincts that define our best producers, with a clear development path to Content Producer as your range grows.

- Lead and shoot content solo — phone-first run-and-gun, UGC, simple lifestyle setups — with more complex sets added as you grow
- Set up and operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment on your shoots
- Direct and coach creator talent on the shoots you lead, building toward directing talent of all experience levels
- Coordinate studio scheduling and equipment readiness across concurrent shoots so productions don't collide
- Shadow and assist Content Producers and Creative Producer on higher-complexity shoots to build out your full range
- Partner with editors post-shoot to hand off footage cleanly and with context
- Assist with studio and office operations — inventory, upkeep, day-to-day readiness to keep the space welcoming to creators
- 1 years of hands-on production experience, or real experience directing/coaching on-camera talent
- Working knowledge of camera, lighting, and audio fundamentals, or genuine comfort directing performances on camera
- Organized and able to manage several moving pieces on a shoot day
- An avid social media consumer with a real read on short-form trends
- Calm and solutions-oriented when a shoot doesn't go as planned
- Hungry to grow into a full Content Producer and willing to put in the reps to get there
- Full-time, in-office position based in NYC, expected in office 5 days/week
- Competitive compensation ($58K–$68K/year)
- A defined growth path to Content Producer, with clear criteria and direct mentorship from our Creative Producer and Content Producers
- Company-paid health, dental, and vision
- $300/month commuter benefit
- Annual team offsites (our last two were Tulum, Mexico and Hokkaido, Japan)
Salary : $58,000 - $68,000
