What are the responsibilities and job description for the Propane Delivery and Service Technician position at Newell Gas?

Qualifications:
- Must be 24 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have an excellent driving record
- Must pass an initial alcohol and drug screening prior to employment
- Ability to comply with potential random alcohol and drug screenings on a quarterly basis per the DOT
- Must have Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements OR the ability to obtain within a timely manner after employment
- Knowledge and understanding of DOT policies and regulations
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and maintain records according to company procedures and regulations
- Provide daily maintenance and pre-trip inspections
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs., walk, climb steps/ladders
- Attend safety meetings and training sessions
- Cross train from delivery driver to service technician, to assist as needed
- Maintain professional behavior, company image and client confidentiality
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8am-5pm
- Saturdays and on call shifts may be requested during busy season
