Description of role:
Our growing retail Company is seeking a delivery technician that lives in the Connersville area and is familiar with the roadways. We are looking for a responsible delivery driver to distribute and set up durable medical equipment promptly to our customers. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while representing our company in a professional manner. Also responsible for patient education and repairs to power mobility equipment.
Tasks:
- Delivering and setting up durable medical equipment in the patient's residence
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
- Collect payments
- Complete logs and reports
- Sell other products and services
Skill and requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Respectable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 120 lbs.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Technical knowledge of durable medical equipment and/or respiratory products is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
