Your role as a Inventory Risk Control Manager
Key responsibilities:
Come be a part of Team Newcold Lebanon! Become a part of a fast pace, fast growing automated Cold Storage facility. We are currently looking for a Inventory Risk Control Manager with a minimum 3 years' experience to join our team and work in our frozen warehouse.
The Inventory Risk Control Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and driving operational improvements across all North American sites. This role is pivotal in reducing customer claims, supporting audits, and building robust reporting systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, accounting, and auditing skills, and be passionate about implementing change.
Lead OS&D (Over, Short & Damaged) investigations, including root cause analysis, documentation, and communication of findings to customers and internal stakeholders.
Resolve inventory discrepancies by conducting physical counts, system reconciliations, and process reviews across multiple sites.
Drive change in operational processes to reduce customer claims and improve inventory accuracy, collaborating with site teams to implement best practices and corrective actions.
Conduct regular audits of inventory, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain detailed reports on inventory status, discrepancies, OS&D events, and audit outcomes for management review and continuous improvement.
Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures and forms, ensuring consistency and compliance across all North American locations.
Support training and development of site inventory teams on risk management, discrepancy resolution, and audit readiness.
Liaise with customers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve inventory-related inquiries and claims.
Escalate significant inventory control issues to senior management, providing risk assessments and recommendations for process improvements.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of product ownership changes, including those involving third-party logistics and exchanges (e.g., CME).
Monitor and report key metrics, trends, and compliance status to drive continuous improvement in inventory management.
Travel will fluctuate, currently 25%.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field preferred but not required.
Experience Requirements
3 years of experience in inventory control, risk management, or warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of ERP and WMS systems.
Proven experience in OS&D investigations, audits, and discrepancy resolution.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel to North American sites as required.
