Are you a visionary leader passionate about community, entrepreneurship, and innovation? NewBo City Market in Cedar Rapids is seeking a dynamic Executive Director to guide our mission, amplify our impact, and lead a beloved local institution into its next chapter.
About the Role
As the Executive Director, you’ll report to the Board of Directors and oversee all aspects of NewBo City Market’s operations, strategy, fundraising, and community engagement. You’ll lead a passionate team, build strong partnerships, and ensure the Market thrives as a cultural and economic engine for the region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Drive mission-aligned growth through long-term planning and program development.
Fundraising & Partnerships: Lead donor relations, grants, and community partnerships to ensure financial sustainability.
Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, reporting, and compliance to maintain a strong fiscal foundation.
Team Management: Recruit, develop, and inspire staff and volunteers to deliver on NBCM’s mission.
Public Engagement: Serve as the face of the Market, building visibility and trust across diverse audiences.
