Role Description
This is a full-time and PRN, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant located in Newberry, SC. The primary responsibility is to assess patients' needs and develop individualized therapy plans to aid recovery and improve their ability to accomplish daily activities. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to monitor progress and provide support for rehabilitation and functional improvement. Additional duties include maintaining detailed records and adhering to all regulatory and facility guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency and experience in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Medicine
- Ability to work with Pediatrics and provide age-appropriate therapy interventions
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Dedication to patient care, empathy, and the ability to motivate clients
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in South Carolina
- Experience in healthcare or clinical settings is a plus
