About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Field Tech to join our Medical Support Team. In this role, you will play a critical part in bridging advanced medical technology with quality patient care. You will support our remote medical and clinical team by visiting healthcare facilities, installing and maintaining cutting-edge medical devices, and assisting with telehealth visits. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients—particularly elderly populations—and ensuring a seamless healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities
Travel to healthcare facilities across New Jersey to provide on-site support.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced medical devices.
Assist in facilitating telehealth visits between patients and remote clinical staff.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered support, ensuring comfort and understanding for elderly patients.
Maintain detailed records of visits, device installations, and patient interactions.
Collaborate with the medical support team to identify and resolve technical or patient-related issues.
Report directly to the Regional Manager and provide regular updates on field activities.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
Prior experience in a patient care setting, especially with elderly populations.
Strong interpersonal skills: responsible, patient, empathetic, caring, trustworthy, and organized.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to different environments.
High school diploma required.
Preferred:
College degree in healthcare, technology, or related field.
Familiarity with medical devices or telehealth platforms.
Basic technical troubleshooting experience.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
