Role Description
We are seeking an Office Administrator for a full-time, on-site role located in Newark, NJ. The Office Administrator will manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring an efficient and organized work environment. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, maintaining schedules, coordinating office supplies inventory, assisting with administrative tasks, supporting staff needs, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. In addition, the Office Administrator will act as a primary contact for internal and external communications, including interacting with vendors, clients, and staff.
Qualifications
- Administrative and organizational skills, including scheduling, document management, and maintaining office supplies.
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and familiarity with office technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and external stakeholders.
- Basic bookkeeping and financial management skills, including handling invoices and expense tracking.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Experience in a non-profit or social services organization is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
