New York Therapy Placement Services, Inc. (NYTPS) is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary healthcare staffing agency, dedicated to serving clients of all ages from birth to geriatrics in Nassau and Suffolk County and all five boroughs of New York City. We operate in both educational and medical environments. We are experts in the placement of NYS licensed and certified healthcare professionals.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical and customer service skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires proficiency in various office software and excellent communication abilities, as you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Greet and welcome families, children, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage emails and phone calls, responding to inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate personnel if needed.
- Assist with scanning, indexing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Schedule therapy services for children and coordinate appointments.
- Manage and update provider schedules within the scheduling system.
- Check in clients and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with parents and families.
- Provide daily support to clinic staff as needed, ensuring smooth operations.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
- Minimum of one year of administrative or clerical experience.
- Proficient in computer use and relevant software applications.
- Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.
- Strong keyboarding skills.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of special needs population is a plus.
