Network Engineer

Job Summary

The Network Engineer will be involved in designing, troubleshooting, installing, and configuring network and infrastructure solutions for customer environments. This person will work closely with senior engineers and customers to support projects involving networking, cloud technologies, virtualization, security, and server infrastructure. The role also includes documentation, customer support, and occasional onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot networking and infrastructure related issues
• Install, configure, monitor, and support firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, and related technologies
• Support customer server and cloud environments
• Assist with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure
• Work with network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and customer projects
• Perform customer onsite visits for troubleshooting, installations, and project support
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver customer solutions
• Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies and best practices

Requirements

• Experience in networking, systems administration, infrastructure support, or related technical environments
• Experience working with customer environments, or multi-site infrastructure is a plus.
• Relevant certifications are helpful but not required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience supporting networking technologies and infrastructure environments
• Familiarity with firewalls, switches, wireless networking, and virtualization technologies
• Experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID
• Exposure to Azure or cloud-based infrastructure is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and systems related issues
• Strong communication skills and customer interaction abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical environment
