Overview:
This role supports complex, contract-driven customer programs from initial quote through final payment. You’ll act as the central point between sales, operations, and the customer—ensuring orders are accurate, compliant, on time, and converted into revenue. The position blends inside sales, order management, and customer account growth.
Key Responsibilities
Order & Contract Coordination
- Review customer orders, contracts, and technical requirements for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and executed across internal teams
- Identify risks, gaps, or special conditions and escalate when needed
Quote-to-Order & Revenue Support
- Track active quotes and follow up to drive conversion to purchase orders
- Monitor quote aging and maintain visibility into pipeline and backlog
- Identify opportunities for repeat business, renewals, or expanded scope
Order Management (Quote → Delivery → Payment)
- Enter and manage orders in ERP system with accurate pricing, terms, and timelines
- Monitor status from order receipt through shipment and invoicing
- Partner with operations to resolve delays and improve delivery performance
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as liaison between sales, production, engineering, and finance
- Provide updates on order status, risks, and priorities
- Help align teams to meet customer commitments
Financial & Post-Order Support
- Assist with invoicing, payment tracking, and issue resolution
- Support returns, claims, and required documentation
- Ensure clean closure of orders and strong customer follow-through
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in inside sales, customer support, or account coordination
- Experience managing complex or technical product orders
- Ability to interpret technical specs or drawings preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- ERP system experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
