Job Title: IFS ERP Data Migration Engineer
Location: Day 1 Atlanta, GA
Experience: 7 years total experience; 3 years of experience in IFS ERP Data Migration.
Job Summary:
- Develop data migration strategies and plans for moving data from legacy systems to IFS ERP.
- Develop scripts to extract, transform and use IFS MKT to load data.
- Perform data analysis and cleansing activities to ensure data quality, as needed.
- Work with clients to map legacy data to IFS data models, tables, and fields
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure data migration projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data migration
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients and project teams on IFS data migration best practices.
- Document data migration processes, procedures, and outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Experience with IFS MKT (Migration Kit Tool) or IFS Data Migration Manager (DMM).
- Knowledge of IFS data models, tables, and fields.
- Very strong SQL developer skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with IFS Applications 5 years.
- Experience with other ERP systems data migration such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, VB, .NET.
