What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Specialist position at New York State Unified Court System?
The New York State Unified Court System, Office of the Deputy Chief Administrative Judge - Outside NYC- is recruiting for one (1) position in the Analyst Series. This position will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant selected: Court Analyst or Assistant Court Analyst. This position provides all aspects of administrative support for the DCAJ's Office (ONYC) at the direction of the Chief of Staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Interacting with all levels of UCS administration.
- Answering and screening calls from the public.
- Maintaining and distributing DCAJ lists and charts.
- Utilizing Excel to log and track Alternative Work Schedule and Discretionary Leave requests.
- Posting requests to CNG and distributing same.
- Updating the 24/7 Family and Civil Hotline phone numbers, including maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.
- Entering and hyper linking documents to the DCAJ Daily Mail Log.
- Acting as office purchasing agent.
- Updating and modifying the office calendar.
- Creating and distributing interview panel letters to panel members.
Qualifications:
Court Analyst: One year in the Assistant Court Analyst title; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Base Salary: $64,971
Assistant Court Analyst: One year in the Junior Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or High School diploma or the equivalent and four (4) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Base Salary: $58,100
