As an Administrative Assistant 2, within the Division of Unemployment Insurance - OSI, your duties would include but are not limited to:
Minimum Qualifications
If Civil Service Eligible list(s) exist, they will be canvassed. You may also apply if you are eligible for appointment by one of the following qualifications:
Subsequent 55 B/C Qualifications
A subsequent 55b/c appointment may be considered if you have one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service in a Grade 13 or higher title* determined to be similar by Civil Service and have a current Civil Service 55b/c approval letter.
Reassignment Qualifications
Current Department of Labor employees only, with at least one year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service in an Administrative Assistant 2; if you have less than one year, you must be reachable on the current Administrative Assistant 2
eligible list for this location, if one exists.
Provisional Qualifications
You must be a qualified Department of Labor employee and have had one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as an Examination Composition Assistant, Keyboard Specialist 2, Keyboard Specialist 2 (Spanish Language), Keyboard Specialist 3, Law Department Document Specialist, Office Assistant 2 Keyboarding, Office Assistant 2 Keyboarding (Spanish Language), Administrative Assistant 1, Administrative Assistant 1 (Spanish Language), or Senior Data Entry Machine Operator.
Only the titles listed are qualifying. The appointed candidate would have to take, pass and be reachable on the next holding of the examination to be appointed permanently.

As an Administrative Assistant 2, within the Division of Unemployment Insurance - OSI, your duties would include but are not limited to:
- Events/Coordination:
- Coordinate and assist in tracking attendance for special events including:
- Shield Ceremony
- Investigator training
- Investigative Supervisor training
- Logistical support
- Assist with agendas/content
- Work with EDGE on training logistics
- Field equipment:
- Ensure all field equip is available for distribution including field iPads
- Respond to emergent field needs for additional equipment
- Coordinate development of new field protocols
- Liaison to procurement office on contracts related to field work
- Track drone requests and assignments for UI enforcement staff
- Maintain database on training
- Receive and maintain requests for use of UAS
- JTF (Joint Task Force):
- Schedule meetings
- Prepare JTF SharePoint Spreadsheet
- Update Outcomes
- Forward received complaints to UI Fraud for their review
- Maintain permissions to the JTF SharePoint site
- PI (Private Investigator) Requests:
- Request PI’s
- Follow-up with PI’s
- Approve Invoices
- Maintain spreadsheets
- If requested by JTF, upload results to JTF SharePoint
