Under the direction of the Food Service Worker 2, the Food Service Worker 1 is responsible for preparing and serving meals to the residents, ensuring that the residents on special diets receive the proper food for their condition. They will also clean the dining area after each meal and clean the kitchen with special attention to cleanliness and sterility.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
There are no education or experience qualifications for this class.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in food and nutrition service.
Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and have good verbal and communication skills.
Additional Comments
Must be flexible and available to work varied hours, including every weekend and holidays. Variable days off during the week.
