Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Must meet the following qualifications for a non-competitive appointment:
A bachelor’s degree AND six years of professional experience in a criminal justice or social service agency, providing direct services to justice-involved individuals by making assessments of the individuals needs and referring them to multiple treatment programs and/or services in such areas as housing, employment, mental health, or substance abuse that are designed to rehabilitate persons with criminal histories. Three years of the experience must have been at a supervisory level.
Substitution: A master’s degree may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
Or
One year of service as an Assistant Parole Services Program Specialist.

Position is located within Community Supervision Re-entry and covers the Central NY Region. Central NY oversees Re-entry services for the following Community Supervision Area Offices: Elmira/Binghamton, Northern Frontier/Watertown/Syracuse, and Utica.
Location is dependent on Departmental needs and candidate reponses.

Salary : $118,425 - $145,039
