Summary: The New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) is seeking an exceptional Special Office Assistant (NYSBA’s Title) - Human Resources Coordinator [external title] with payroll experience preferably working with GTM software to provide high level support to our HR Department and Executive team. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day Human Resources operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, administrative functions and the processing of the agency’s biweekly payroll. This position ensures smooth HR processes and contributes to a positive employee experience.
The HR Coordinator reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Skills/ Requirements: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience which would include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Highly responsive and customer focused professional who collaborates well with team members of all levels of the organization
- 2-3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role
- Experience processing C-Suite or Executive payroll
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel
- Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Experience with GTM / I-Solve, Kronos, UKG platforms strongly preferred
- Commitment to maintaining and handling sensitive information with discretion.
Benefits: The salary range, based on experience, for this Confidential (G-12) position is $61,813.00–74,821.00. In addition, we offer excellent benefits including:
