Job Description
The Systems Analyst acts as a business/finance liaison to assigned departments within Stamford Health System (SHS) to ensure that Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications function as intended. The candidate will play a key role in researching and resolving software problems as part of daily operational support. The Systems Analyst works in conjunction with the Team Lead/Manager to implement new solutions, perform training, create documentation, of assigned ERP applications, databases, interfaces, and reports. They must also be familiar with the on-prem/cloud server configuration, client installation, data transfer formats, and application backup and recovery procedures for these applications. Duties also include performing necessary maintenance to further advance ERP applications, and the investigation, resolution, and notification of issues escalated through Service Desk tickets. It is expected that the Systems Analyst is engaged in the implementation of multiple ERP/HIS modules, lead major ERP release upgrades, as requested. The Systems Analyst will serve as back up to the Senior System Analyst when necessary.
