Role Overview
Our in-house photographer will be responsible for creating high-quality imagery for NYON’s ecommerce site, marketing channels, and brand campaigns. This role is primarily focused on shooting ecommerce product photography, product flat lays, product lifestyle images, and select creative/editorial photography that reflect NYON’s visual identity. You will work closely with our creative, marketing and merchandising teams to maintain visual consistency across all platforms while bringing fresh ideas to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Ecommerce Photography: Shoot and edit on-model and product-only images for our website, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.
- Product Photography: Create flat lay and styled product shots for ecommerce and marketing use.
- Lifestyle Photography: Capture product-in-use imagery for social, email marketing, and other digital/print channels.
- Creative Projects: Conceptualize and execute selective editorial and creative shoots in alignment with brand vision.
- Collaborate with the marketing, design, and merchandising teams to plan shot lists, set styling, and overall direction.
- Maintain NYON’s visual standards while exploring new approaches to enhance storytelling and product presentation.
- Manage and organize photography files, ensuring assets are properly labeled and archived for easy access.
- Assist with basic set design, lighting setup, and prop sourcing as needed.
- Stay current on photography trends, techniques, and industry tools.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional photography experience (in-house or freelance), preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or product photography.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in ecommerce, flat lay, lifestyle, and creative photography.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; familiarity with Capture One is a plus.
- Experience working with studio lighting and natural light setups.
- Keen eye for detail, composition, and brand storytelling.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
