Position Overview
Our client, a food service company, is seeking an experienced Photographer for a two-day shoot to refresh and expand their visual content library. This project will focus exclusively on food photography and will capture a diverse range of dishes for use across marketing, sales, and brand channels.
The shoot will take place in NYC on August 19-21.
Key Responsibilities
- Photograph a wide variety of catering and food offerings in a studio and/or on-location environment.
- Produce high-quality imagery optimized for website, social, sales and print materials
- Manage all aspects of photography, including lighting, composition, styling collaboration, and shot execution.
- Ensure images accurately reflect the brand while highlighting food quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Edit, color-correct, and retouch final image selections to professional standards.
Qualifications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating professional food photography work.
- Proven experience photographing food, catering, restaurant, hospitality, or culinary brands.
- Advanced knowledge of lighting techniques, composition, and food presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must provide and operate your own professional photography equipment.
