Warehouse Supervisor (Overnight)

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our overnight (Sunday through Thursday 7:00PM to 4:00AM) shift to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walkthroughs to confirm department is suitable for daily operations while also meeting all safety guidelines

• Measure and report the effectiveness of your department activities and employees performance
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
• Coordinate department staff to meet the needs on the company

• Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
• Communicate job expectations
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload
• Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
• Collaborate with other departments to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices
• Enforces operating instructions and safety policies
• Resolves routine equipment issues

Skills

• Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift/pull/push/carry 49 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to enter and maneuver in confined spaces
• Willingness to comply with company guidelines in reference to appropriate warehouse and/or freezer attire
• Willingness to work overtime upon request in order to complete such tasks associated with the company
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -3 degrees Fahrenheit
