Role Description
As a New York Life Financial Services Professional, you will be working with clients in areas such as retirement planning, college funding, life insurance needs, investment strategies, and many areas of financial planning. You will also:
-Develop and implement business and marketing plans
-Prospect for potential clients to discuss their financial needs and concerns
-Present potential solutions using our competitive suite of products and services
-Develop your professional skills and knowledge through the New York Life training curriculum
-Obtain optional licenses to sell investments and other securities products dealing with wealth management and advanced planning
*Management opportunities
*Position is a W2 and includes full benefits
*Position includes both fixed and variable compensation
*Licenses are sponsored and paid for by the company
- Variable products can only be sold by registered representatives holding appropriate securities licenses
You will required to be in the Mt Laurel, NJ office two days per week!
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, and Finance
- Strong understanding of Financial Services and its related practices
- Excellent Communication skills for building client trust and relationships
- Ability to analyze and develop personalized financial strategies
- Self-motivated with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Relevant certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or equivalent, are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred
