Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all baked goods meet our high standards of quality and presentation. As a Baker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our Bagels are baked to their best. Your expertise in food handling and safety will ensure that we maintain the highest standards in our kitchen.

The shifts will be primarily at night but could also include some day time prep shifts as well if the candidate is interested.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bagels and muffins.
• Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning to create seasonal offerings.
• Ensure all food preparation adheres to safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area.
• Assist with organizing orders, ensuring timely delivery of baked products.
• Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation tasks.
• Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate new techniques and flavors into our offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in baking or pastry arts.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in menu planning is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
