Job Description
New Wave Carpet and Tile Care LLC is seeking a reliable, hardworking Carpet Cleaning Assistant to join our team as an independent contractor. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values customer service, and wants flexible income potential with tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technician with all carpet, tile, and upholstery cleaning jobs
- Load/unload equipment and supplies from work vehicle
- Set up and break down cleaning equipment at each job site
- Follow instructions on cleaning procedures and chemical usage
- Move light furniture as needed for cleaning access
- Help ensure customer satisfaction and address basic client questions or concerns on-site
- Maintain cleanliness of work vehicle and equipment after each job
- Collect payment/tips if needed and provide receipts when necessary
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move 30 lbs frequently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance
- Must have reliable transportation to meet at office
- Prior cleaning, janitorial, or customer service experience a plus (not required)
- Available to work at least 2 days between Wednesdays,Thursdays, Fridays, and every other Saturday from 8am–5pm
Compensation
- Paid as an independent contractor (1099)
- Earn 15% of the total job price for each job worked, plus any customer tips
