New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician.

• Conducts repairs on company property in an efficient and workmanlike manner to include carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical
• Assists supervisors in identifying current and future maintenance needs.
• Watches out for safety and fire hazards and reports them promptly or takes direct action to eliminate them.
• Assists other maintenance personnel in maintaining efficient operation of the building, including cleanup, inventory control and tool control.
• Plays a major role in the general upkeep of the company property: road maintenance, lawn and field mowing, erosion control and snow removal.
• Conducts upkeep for the inside of the building to ensure it remains up to code.
• Must be flexible and willing to do new things having to do with minor construction.
• Performs maintenance on resident’s rooms when needed
• Supports the maintenance system by completing all paperwork, logs, checklist, and forms
• Other duties as assigned by Management. 

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical
• Ability to interact with employees, public, clients and their families in highly professional manner.
• Good judgment and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized.
• Excellent time management, punctuality and reliability required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Emotional stability and personal adjustment to act as a role-model for residents.
• Able to lift up to a minimum of 50 pounds.

Education Requirement:

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience 
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
